Just used this rub on 2 racks of ribs. Found the flavor to be good but there was a VERY overpowering taste of salt almost to the point that the ribs were nearly inedible. I have never having visited or eaten at Memphis Barbecue so I do not know the taste profile of the ribs served in the restaurant and have no way to compare the taste of my ribs to the onses served in the reataurant. I prepared the ribs using this rub and placed them into a Traeger pellet smoker at about 225 degrees for 3 hours and sauced at the end. I did not use any baisting sauce during the cook.
